      Pros

      Start-up environment but with the stability of a larger company Rational allows employees to contribute and have a direct impact on the products and technology. It's a fun and challenging environment that has made a lot of very positive changes over the last year and is moving in the right direction with both the technology and the work environment.

      Cons

      Some of the benefits could be a little better such as more vacation time and maybe a 401k contribution (but I guess that's a general downside of a smaller company).

      Pros

      New features & products are constantly being developed. If you are ambitious and desire meaningful experience, there is plenty of opportunity for career growth.

      Cons

      If you are unfamiliar with supporting a product that is used 24/7, you may have a difficult time adjusting to the work environment.

      Pros

      We are committed to creating a challenging and exciting place to work and grow. Negative reviews of the past are taken seriously; however most appear to be traceable to individual issues and circumstances. For the most part a great group of people to work with and learn from. As CTO I stand committed to ensuring a balanced and exciting work experience at Rational for those willing to work with us to continue to improve and grow.

      Cons

      Sometimes a large degree of flexibility is required as far as focus goes. This challenge; while typical of organizations of this maturity and size; is often not easy. When we are successful however, that 'home run' feeling is great!
