      Pros

      Good experience, good industry contacts, buy side and management exposure, good resources and strong surrounding equity research analysts. Overall, not bad. Not bad work/life balance.

      Cons

      Below average bonus. No cost of living salary adjustment. Bonus not necessarily merit based. Limited upward mobility past year two.

      True to the Client's First mission, but also treat employees well

      Pros

      RJ has a small business feel to it, even after it has doubled in size. Most departments understand Work/Life balance and the level of work is just right.

      Cons

      It is still a few years behind the larger firms, but that is expected. There have been many changes in middle management and tons of new hires, which has caused the culture to change slightly.

      Pros

      Most of the people that work there are pretty good at their jobs, they were truly apologetic about the round of layoffs, you probably will not find a better firm for work life balance

      Cons

      Super conservative, Some senior people have been there forever and are not open to change. Management has also promoted people based on tenure instead of merit which leads to conflict with newer associates, nepotism is also evident
