Pros

RJF has had little exposure to the financial plague and potentially could grow while many other financial companies are suffering.

Cons

The culture of RJF is very departmental. It often makes it difficult to talk about it wholistically. Many areas have a poor work/life attitude. Overall RJF is still trying to catch up with its size. A number of its computer networks and departments have difficulties coordinating. RJF gave me a great opportunity to grow my career however there is a glass door (experienced by most) if you do not have an Ivy League Degree.

Pros

Good benefits, bonuses sometimes, nice building.

Cons

Overbearing uneducated micromanagers, having to do the work of everyone in your department, no job security, no advancement. I was not able to move to a different department due to my boss.
