Pros

The company values training and education. They encourage you to learn new skill sets and look for opportunities to get their employees trained and how to utilize their new skill sets within production. They have tuition reimbursement programs as well. Decent pay. The culture is great and the people are great. There’s bonuses for individual performance and for company performance. Travel opportunities vary but are there. Flexible and committed about relocating their employees if their contracts end. Promotions within the company are there, you need to apply for them or wait your time.

Cons

You have to fight for your salary, always counter with RMD within reason. They will outright disrespect you with their offer. Benefits could be better.

Pros

Committment to Respect/Diversity. Decent salary on initial arrival. Flexible schedule. Compensated overtime. 9/80 and 4/40 work schedules avalailable.

Cons

Terrible raises. No opportunity for growth. Only interested in recruitment, not retention. Outdated tools. Very disorganized. Most people that know how to design missiles have been chased off.

Pros

- Great job security, even all throughout the pandemic - Working on impactful, cutting edge tech - OT paid as straight time (i.e. if you work 48 hrs you get paid for 48 hrs) - Good first job

Cons

- Working weekends, OT, or on holidays sometimes required to meet deadlines - Slow career advancement/promotions - Much lower compensation relative to other software engineering fields - Not a great job for anyone outside of entry level positions - Very high turnover rate for new employees
