Pros

1. The office design is modern and clean. 2. They have a game room. 3. Cafeteria food is good quality.

Cons

1. Lots of great ideas, poor execution, if execution is made. 2. No desire from management to learn. 3. Don’t expect to fully perform your job description. 4. Management lacks leadership, and quality decision-making. 5. The strategy is never shared or discussed amongst the team; with those making those strategies come true. 6. Don’t expect a bonus, or a raise if you manage to receive a promotion. 7. The product team can’t seem to figure out what they want out of their products.

Realpage is a decent company with low benefits

Pros

Great working environment and easy-going culture Collaboration is encouraged and easy. Some of the best managers I've ever had. Great cafe in the building provides cheap and good food. Plenty of options to move up and around to different teams.

Cons

Pay is low and there are no bonuses for regular employees. Vacation days are very limited and don't roll over. There is a gym, but it's not free. They don't offer a 401k match for regular employees.

Thank you for your post. Your Pro comments point out of a very balanced view of the work environment. I want to thank you for that as we are trying very hard to train great managers and give employees the options they deserve. On the con side, lets look at each mention. 1) Pay in almost all cases is very near or on the Redford benchmarks for each position. Yes, there will always be employees higher or lower in the range. I would be happy to review your situation with you confidentially. The bonus program starts at grade 13, however we have several hundred employees on performance based plans the pay out quarterly based on certain customer facing positions. 2) We front load everyone's vacation at the beginning of the year and offer 2 weeks at the start, 3 weeks after 5 years, and 4 weeks after 10 years. This is quite consistent with most companies. 3) Yes, we ask that employees that use the gym which has personal trainers to pay $10 a month for a towel service. 4) We do have a discretionary match on our 401k plan that has paid out an increasing number year after year for over 10 years. In 2019, the vesting period is being reduced from 20% each year over 5 years down to 33% each year over 3 years. Please take me up your compensation review ayc....X4016. Sincerely Kurt Twining
