Thank you for your post. I could not agree more with your advice. In the past I believe some managers have held on to employees who were not achieving high standards, due to the slowness of getting a replacement requisition. That all changed last week. Average is awful in the world of high tech so we must constantly strive to get better. I appreciate you taking the time to reinforce this point. Glad you like the campus and the atmosphere. Thank you for your post. I appreciate and agree with you that we have the potential to hire and retain really great talent. It is something we strive to do every day. Based on your advice I discussed your comment that HR was not addressing abhorrent complaints with several HR Directors. They categorically said that was not the case. In fact they stated they take it very seriously. It should be pointed out that in the United States we have 10 Employee Relations Directors and Managers of which 8 of them are women and the only 2 men are both in South Carolina and your comments are not coming from there. I am clearly not saying that you did not witness or experience bad behavior, I am reacting based on my team's comments that they do take issues very seriously. The person you stated touched you has left the company. The other person you are mentioning was terminated on 5/12/15, almost three years ago . When I heard the comments that he made and confirmed we acted. After 1.5 years away from RealPage a manager asked to hire him back on the premise that he had changed his life around and that any further issue would be dealt him. Your notion we brought him back with a huge pay increase is not accurate. He came back in at lower level role without any "huge" pay increase. There have been no further incidents. In life sometimes people get a second chance, and when they do its really important that they act in a manner that is in the best interest of all. . By hiring him back it did not mean we condoned his actions, he had a 13 year track record of being a good employee. He is forever sorry for that bad day. For everyone reading this post we truly care about our work environment. I would like to share that all managers on a yearly basis are required to take and pass a class on sexual harassment, so this suggestion is in place. Finally, The highest scoring question on the most recent engagement survey with 4,482 responses was "I am treated with respect as an individual: 90% favorable, 6% neutral and 4% unfavorable. The third highest rated question was, "RealPage operates in an ethical manner: 87% favorable, 11% neutral and 3% unfavorable. These scores are much higher than the high performing company benchmarks, You certainly may have experienced bad behavior, and that is truly unfortunate, but it would be unfair to say that this is how we operate. These engagement scores do not reflect that at all. I sincerely hope you find a great working environment and that you never experience again what you stated above.
