Pros

My team is amazing and my management team is the best of the best. The job is challenging and has really helped me grow as a professional. I enjoy coming to work because of the people that work with me. I have been working at this company for almost 8 years which shows how amazing my team is! I have rated senior management 5 stars based on my own management team and culture 5 stars based on my team and my management team having a dedication to employee culture.

Cons

The pay is very poor for my job title. Raises are very poor each year due to "budget" which is a hard pill to swallow when you are going above and beyond all year. The job comes with extreme stress which is another reason the compensation is such an important part and when compensation is lacking it makes it hard to stay with the company. Beyond my management team - the executive team is detached from employee culture and knows nothing on the jobs that we do.

Thank you for your post. I'm glad that you like your leadership team, coworkers and that you are growing as a professional. Each year we do benchmarks using Radford global data to set ranges, so I know our ranges are competitive. We have also given merit increases that have cumulated out to 4% over the last year. The real question you are asking is where am I in my range and am I being compensated for the value I add to the company. A very fair question. If you would like to confidentially sit down, one on one, I will be a happy to review your entire pay history and see what the data tells us. It sounds like you really like what you do and if there is something that the data tells us I will be more than happy to address it with the support of your supervisor. Again, thank you for our post.Kurt Twining x4016

Pros

The pay is decent. The location is great. They often treat the staff to lunch. They are open 24 hours.

Cons

Management. The training is not effective. Opportunities to advance are slim.

Thank you for your post. This post caught my attention for several reasons. Glad you like the pay and the location. I have asked Mike Daley and Rob Felkel who are accountable for training to look into this. We want well trained teammates, no question. Reach out to Rob, he is a great guy and will personally help u with training and career pathing. Sincerely, Kurt Twining

Pros

There is a wide variety of professional opporunities at RealPage for which I am grateful. I joined 6 years ago as part of a small acquisition and I am much better off than I was before. The company is moving the needle in a positive direction.

Cons

We need to break down the silos and treat our customers as if we are one cohesive company. The sales team is only expected to get signed orders. They leave the problem-solving and expectation setting to others.

Thank you for your post. There are several things underway that address your advice which I agree with. We are building out at UX/UIX team under Scott Terrell that will design like look and feel for everything RealPage. In our new facility all the product/engineering teams will be co-located in neighborhoods with many co-labs, meeting rooms, etc. Janine Steiner's division effect 8/21 will roll up under William Chaney which is already using the services and leadership of Kurt Johnson to lead our engineering functions in a similar direction. These are just to name a few things that are coming quickly. I also expect you will see a shift to more account management (farmers) and then real dedicated (hunters) in the sales group. This will address your sales concerns. Thank you again for your ideas. Kurt Twining
