Worst Management Ever

Pros

Benefits and salary are a plus.

Cons

Management is untrained or untrainable. Very large egos! Manage by the "I like you, I don't mentality," when it comes to their employees. Their mentality is: I know everything......don't contribute, keep your mouth shut and just do your job. If they don't like you, you are out the door, regardless if you do a great job.

Pros

Some of the people I worked with were cool... but that doesn't have much to do with the company itself.

Cons

Company Values: The company has many - mostly geared toward making management/company more money. Any "company value" you see about bettering the work environment or workers life or the clients (people who buy their products) life is a lie. Personal Growth: I will mirror what others said - "work your butt off and get nothing in return." The company performance reviews are a joke. Promotions: I received 2 promotions while i was there - i was lucky - many, many hard working colleagues of mine never received a thing for their efforts (out side of minimal raises). In fact, I was a workplace-friend of 2 people who were fired because of workplace-politics that were not involving there actual production. If you decide to work here, be careful of how you act around management. If there is an opportunity for your boss to push blame off on you to save their own neck it will likely happen. And for sake of sanity be ready for hard-fast ill-advised changes to happen on whatever product your working for; changes that cause constant restructuring, re-branding, and transferring of roles within the company.

Pros

None really. Any good reviews here, I'm sure are put there by RealPage HR. I have not met a lot of very happy employees at this company. My advise, if you get a job offer politely turn it down and look for another company.

Cons

1. Senior management is full of property management folks who have no clue about software development. 2. Very high turnover rate. The only employees who remain at this place are people who can't find a job elsewhere. 3. Management is more concerned with Wall Street than product or customers. The CEO dumps a good portion of his shares into the market every year, so he is only concerned about maintaining the stock price. 4. There is a re-org every three months. I reported to 7 managers in 2 years. Promotion based on favoritism and not merit. Incompetent people are promoted, while hard working employees are looked over. 5. HR is a big joke and totally pro management. Don't look to them for help. Benefits and PTO are severely lacking. 6. Company does not have any organic growth, bottom-line is declining. The growth numbers shown by the company are only maintained due to acquisitions.
