The absolute worst company and the worst boss I ever worked for

Pros

Absolutely none to share other than the few people who were genuinely nice and helpful. Some activities were fun. The often catered food and monthly birthday cakes were nice.

Cons

Company strives for mediocrity and then celebrates it. Avoid this company at all costs. Very high turnover. Very critical and abusive managers who often throw their employees under the bus, and openly criticize employees to others (management and peers) behind their back therefore leading to rumors and negative feelings among peers and creating an atmosphere of distrust and hostility. Total lack of interdepartmental cooperation and communication. Job expectations not commensurate with salary. HR is a big joke and totally pro management. Don't look to them for help. Benefits and PTO are severely lacking.

Pros

I worked at RealPage for over a decade and met some of the kindest most genuine people. The people really are the best thing about the company.

Cons

If the job can be outsourced it will be. They are no longer interested in maintaining talent but in cutting costs by any means necessary. The pay is low and the raises, when and if you get them, are extremely small. For instance the last increase I received was less than $100 per month. Growth within the company is almost nonexistent, but they will continue to add responsibility to your role without compensating you for it. The DOJ is actively investigating the company and its business practices. Do yourself a favor and google the case so you can make an informed decision signing on.

Pros

Every now and then you'd find a manager that cared about you personally but you couldn't trust them to care about the job

Cons

Didn't care about career growth, employee's contributions, sent jobs overseas instead of recognizing all we did.
