Pros

The industry is high growth and upper management continues to explore other options and markets. They are invested in making the work experience a positive one. The people are wonderful and they seem to have a clear vision of where they want to take the company that was missing in the past.

Cons

They place heavy restrictions on employees that transition to another group. There seem to be instances where it would be better to be hired from outside of the company than to work hard internally. As a current employee, there is a cap or ceiling for how much of a raise you can receive in a fiscal year. If I was to leave the company and was able to rehired, I would not face that restriction and have no trouble negotiating my pay. After a couple of years with the company, it seems like they would prefer to have the label as a ‘destination company’. Due to the pay restriction, they lose the talented and dedicated employees that they currently have.

Pros

The department has great potential and there are some good people there. There is oppritunity for growth.

Cons

Management also talks about "growth" but will block you from leaving the department. Let people be great and stop holding people back. RealPage is all about growth within

Thank you for your post. I had an opportunity to discuss this post with Chris Karp, who leads our Product Support efforts. He is not aware of anyone being blocked from transferring to another function. In fact, since last year, 9 employees have done just that. I'm sure you are aware of that there is a white board in the area, where anyone can leave feedback anonymously so feel free to use this. Now your Manila comment is not fair. Their Customer Satisfaction score are very close to the US and in many cases the agents exceed them. One thing we are training on is deeper industry knowledge and that is coming on fast. What I 100% agree with you on is the suggestion, listen to your agents. That is spot on and at the heart of any good professional relations. Let me buy you lunch and lets explore all of your good ideas and unlock the potential that you and others have. X4016 Sincerely, Kurt Twining

Pros

What attracted me and what I am most excited about is the growth opportunities with RealPage to positively impact our customers and team members - a growing, dynamic company that recognizes need for change and the committed to make that happen.

Cons

How quickly can these changes be made?
