Pros

Nice environment, always can get a good hot cup of coffe, love the morale boosters.

Cons

The benefits are horrible. The monthly premiums and deductables are just a huge decrease in your yearly salary. HR / benefits department never respond to emails and questions. The $50 discount they give off your month premium is nothing compared to a 6K out of pocket deductible. Its either go to the doctor or put food on the table. As hard as the employees work, we could at leat get profit sharing to help off set some of the costs.

Thank you for your post. I would like you to send me every email that the HR function has not responded to. As this point is contrary to the service they try to provide. Again, send them to me and I will assure you everyone that was not answered will be answered in 24 hours. We are also preparing for benefits enrollment for 2017. A couple things that our employees can look forward to are, many offerings will be flat in cost. We are improving the maternity benefits to be above industry average, we have a proposal in front of us that will reduce administrative fees on the 401k plan that will go back to all employees. You are in the high deductible plan, but it also pays out 100% once your deductible is met. The benefits are not horrible by any stretch of the imagination. We also just upped the number of weeks of vacation for long service employees. In the new HQ, we will be offering a full gym membership for only $10 a month to cover locker and towel services. We are in the middle of doing bio metric screening for free for all employees. We bring in skin and breast cancer screening mobile units on site that are covered by your benefits. I do appreciate you mentioned that we have a nice environment and morale boosters. Sincerely, Kurt Twining

Pros

good office facilities, good insurance.

Cons

No work from home. Bonus starts from manger and above position. So if you are applying for position which is lower than manager then there is no chance of getting bonus.

Thank you for your post. I wish you great success in your future endeavors. We do have bonus plans for account managers and customer service managers which start at grade 7 and go through 13 as they influence the relationship with our customers. Bonus plans kick in at grade 13 which is a senior manager. We also have a significant number of employees on incentive plans as it relates to their work. Sincerely, Kurt Twining

Pros

The pay is usually slightly above market average.

Cons

Benefits suck. They limited coverage to plans with high co-pays and deductibles for 2016, because there were "too many claims for the previous year." This sums up the company. Profit above people. Work/life balance is not a priority either. Calling in sick is like pulling teeth. Anytime I had to (which was not often!!), the only response I would get from management is: "OK, so what time will you be in today?" They are more concerned about you being there than your well-being. The company's performance is not impressive either. There have been multiple buy-out attempts, because the company was not doing well. Most recently, they moved to a large, beautiful new building. Within ONE month, they laid-off a lot of employees, including me. I'm not sure how they can afford to move the company, but have a large lay off to "cut costs."

Thank you for your post. Thank you for pointing out we paid you favorably. RealPage has delivered several years of consecutive revenue growth, so to say we are not doing well is just not accurate. There have not been many buy out attempts, and the stock is up 30% this year from January. We're not perfect, but no company is. It is very unfortunate to be laid off, and we did not take these decisions lightly, but we are shifting resources around to fund future growth initiatives. We also did not limit plan coverages and co-pays because of too many claims. Our claims run at 80% of the national average, we're either very healthy or very lucky. We do spend a lot of money on wellness programs. If you would like please give me a call and I can connect you with several search firms in the area. The Dallas market is very hot right now and I would truly like you to land into something you enjoy. Sincerely, Kurt Twining
