      I Love My Job!

      Pros

      RealPage is full of talented, driven and kind people. I love my coworkers, and there is a strong sense of community among our team. The company is growing really quickly, so our work is exciting and there are opportunities to work on new projects on a regular basis.

      Cons

      RealPage is undergoing a lot of growth and change this year, primarily related to our move to a new corporate headquarters. This has required employees to be adaptable, but I'm excited about how it will benefit us in the long-run and the new opportunities that will arise.

      Thank you for your post. RealPage is definitely finding its stride which is very evident after our earnings call yesterday. The new acquisition of NWP is a great example of the industry partnerships that can be formed. I excited that you find the company full of talented, driven and kind people. I can also say the new portal is a great place to find out what is going on not just with the company, but also the good things that people do in every day life - so to your point communication is on the rise.       Room for growth. Reasonable pay. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Cattiness from the women. Immature management. Difficult to move to a different department.

      Not my favorite, but not my worst

      Pros

      Opportunity to move up. Decent pay for the job. Raises each quarter you progress in the career path. Cellular discounts Random on-site company+family events and sweet treats once a month or so They would provide meals for those having to work on holidays. Easy job. Answer phones, collect resident information, document maintenance issue, probe to find exact issue, save request, the call ends. Extra $1/hr on Sat and Sun If you get a good team lead they're very helpful.

      Cons

      Required to work one weekend day but got an extra $1/hr. (That wasn't a con to me but others may disagree). The job itself can be mentally stressful. I worked both marketing and maintenance and each came with their separate frustrations. The residents can be tough to handle. I would only recommend this job if you have high patience and are not easily affected by hostile callers.
