Pros
This has been my first experience at a start-up and I had no idea what I was in for. The Executive team has extensive experience and/or leadership that has allowed this start-up to move at speeds that no one thought was possible. Don't take my word for it, check out their bios/educations/work experiences. The Product? Just watch any of the videos by customers online. That's the part I love best is seeing a form factor that thought of workers first versus trying to shove a consumer product into worker's hands. As scary and as unstable as a start-up can be, they've never missed a payroll. On a professional level, I have been challenged more than at any other job and been able to explore multiple work areas versus a narrow area. Plus, I have learned a great deal about leadership from the CEO and COO.
Cons
With rapid growth, Work Life Balance can be difficult to achieve and the workload can be overwhelming at times. With everyone carrying a heavy workload, I would have liked more guidance from my manager.
