Pros

As a single mom of two kids Move Inc has allowed me to be very successful. I was very lucky to find this job 8 years ago and never turned back. This job has allowed me to make a very nice life for my kids and I. Very good pay, Benefits, 401K. Great people to work with. Always motivated and always exciting. I am a president's club winner, going on 2 trips - to Cabo San Lucas - staying in a Five Start resort, with my fellow teammates, and significant other. I did not come from a "sales background", but with hard work, I mean hard work and dedication, and a strong belief in our company, it's core values, and all the exciting products we have launched, and will be launching is what it takes to make it here. I have worked longer at Move than any other company I have ever worked for and there is a reason. I believe in this company as much as the company believes in me. We were recently bought by Newscorp, and since then our traffic has sky rocketed. I work here because I like being part of something meaningful, and rewarding.

Cons

I cannot think of a con really. I have been here for a really long time, and find that if you don't work hard, and stay committed, you have cons. But if you do the hard work, this company has no challenge rewarding you greatly.

Pros

One positive was the group that I worked with, met some people who have become great friends. Occasionally good spiff opportunities.

Cons

The manager that was overseeing one of the sales team in Scottsdale was one of the worst managers I've ever come across in a professional sales environment. Very insecure, lacked basic social and people skills, and struggled selling the marketing solutions himself. Top performers were seen as threats instead of assets, which is unheard of in a professional sales organization. Driving revenue in an ethical fashion was given a backseat to stroking the manager's fragile ego and self esteem. Lackluster subpar employees who went to lunch with manager and caddied for him on the weekends were promoted. Constant threats and unrealistic goals.

Pros

The pay can be rewarding at times when you exceed your goal. Numerous spiffs are awarded for selling the flavor of the day product.

Cons

If you seen the movie Boiler Room this is the environment at Move. Management is terrible, they just want you to slam people get their credit card and get onto the next call. Extreme favoritism in terms of who gets quality book of business. Customer complaints are never dealt with and encouraged to be ignored or move them into another product that doesn't suit the needs of the customer just to retain money. When customer complains that they got zero results management blames you for selling particular product to customer and takes it out of your commission. Absolutely the worst sales organization I ever worked for and if you don't kiss up to your manager you will never be successful here. I guess the bottom line is I worked at Move for over a year and 20 other employees started around the same time. I only know of one person who still works there. They churn, burn you out, and spit you to the curb. Sales philosophy is what have you sold in last 15 minutes otherwise you can never get the attention of management for assistance Standard practice for reps is to go out on stress leave disability. Don't do it.
