Pros

Stable, reliable with competitive salaries for the local marketplace. High staff retention, many employees with over 10 years of service. Collaboration between teams is reasonable. Work-life balance is good for a high tech company. Evening and weekend working is rare. For those that want it, a career path is available for those who want to move into technical, team leadership or management.

Cons

Corporate red tape and lack of co-operation between different parts of the organization can make it difficult to get your job done. High turnover of senior executives and management in head office causes disruption.
