A lot of the people you talk to are mean or rude, it’s monotonous. Little appreciation from management, dumb contests that reward the top performers instead of actual raises for tenor. Inflexible work hours so it’s hard to manage work life balance while raising a family. No job security and lots of lay offs, safer to stay at lower positions because they are less likely to be laid off
