Pros

The pay is really competitive - the best ramp up pay period in the industry by far. You are even given a book of business when you start so you can really hit the ground running. I'm off to a solid start and hoping to work here a long time!

Cons

I'm not sure if I;ve been here long enough just yet to assess the cons. However, I think that the building itself could use another facelift. As petty as it sounds, it's true.

Pros

1) Full of incredibly talented individual contributors and teams who have freedom to choose their own tech stack. 2) Super supportive management that nudges you in the right direction but never interferes. 3) C level staff lets you take calculated risks and AB test everything so we make the right long term decisions, even if it means revenue impact in the short term. 4) CEO, CTO work on their desks outside their offices with the rest of the team. 5) Can't say enough good things about the culture. I've only been here two months and so far we've had an amazing hackathon, a tech block party, Halloween celebrations with families, a Diwali party, and I already have an invitation for a holiday cocktail party! 6) Lastly great pay. Also they do a lot to make you feel part of the Realtor.com family, and still let you be you.

Cons

The Santa Clara office has a terrible cafe shared with a bunch of companies, but there's a lot of healthy options available within walking distance (Whole Foods, Specialty's, etc)

With our new Snack program and fun food days, the one con you point out should cease to exist soon. And you are right, we are surrounded by a lot of cool food options. Just wait to see what other great things we have in store that showcase our wonderful culture!

Pros

Casual work environment, stocked kitchen, travel depending on position, good health insurance and company matching 401k, although employees must pay pre-tax dollars for plans (not inclusive in salary)

Cons

Disorganization, consistent acquisitions that lead to restructuring of products where leadership does not take the time to understand the needs of the business which adversely effects what should be a very client-centered suite of products, lack of internal upward mobility.
