Dissappointing Experience

Pros

Start-up vibe, aesthetic office/branding, looks good surface level. Good sense of community within lower/mid-level employees due to shared struggles within the company.

Cons

Heavy management issues, Lower/Mid Level Employees are treated as disposable and are given low-ball wages. HR knows about unfairness but no plan of action due to favoritism. Big expectations but small reward for employees. Overall messy and sloppy company.

Pros

Casual corporate office. They decorate your desk for your birthday. There used to be beer on tap and in the fridges at Corporate.

Cons

Leadership is cliquish and act like they are in high school.The senior leaders have gone into “meetings” where they take tequila shots and drink instead of conducting productive business during regular work hours on site. Lots of turnover and layoffs are every quarter like clockwork. It’s a race to see who can get the cheapest workers.

Pros

Even though my coworkers suffered from the same random, badly considered management from the CEO as I did, they were all very nice.

Cons

The management style. The C level team (this is mostly the badly trained, authoritarian CEO) will say one thing and do another, or tell you to wait and then call you out because you followed their instructions. It was definitely not only my own impression, but shared by most in the office. Bad moral, left an angry, sad feeling in your stomach. Glad I quit!
