Pros
Let's start first with what with culture. The culture at Recharge is fantastic. Culture can feel like this nebulous HR term that is thrown around flippantly bu from the bottom of my heart trust me when I say: Recharge has the best company culture I've ever been a part of.
I've been with the company for some time now and have watched it rapidally grow and scale over the years. Through it all Recharge has continued to have an exceptional company culture that is hardworking, inclusive, light hearted and value driven. If I can expand on light hearted, I mean that in the sense that... I never leave Recharge with heaviness. I never start work with dread or get the sunday scaries thinking about logging on for the week. We do complex, hard work at Recharge and throughout all of that, in every meeting I'm a part of, team mates are smiling, laughing and checking in on each other's personal lives.
From the leadership down, everyone I've connected with at Recharge share similar values of being kind, inclusive, talented, and passionate. These are employees who strive to provide value to the company, their teammates and Recharge's community of merchants and partners.
The benefits at Recharge are tremendous. Unlimited PTO (mental health days and vacations are constantly encouraged from leadership and managers). The pay is top notch and remote work allows for flexible hours and an ability to prioritize your life outside of work (which to me and so many others is invaluable). We have teammates travelling the globe as digital nomads. We have teammates leaving the country to work overseas for a month. We have teammates training for marathons on their lunch. Recharge is built on trusting its employees. There's no, clocking your hours or computer screen activity monitoring. We are trusted to attend meetings on time, be a good collaborative teammate and get our work done. That's the bottom line.
Something else very important to me that Recharge priorities is: hard work and impact is rewarded. Employees are recognized and appreciated (both financially and through company accolades).
Just as important to me: DEI is not a buzzword at Recharge. The company is always striving to be more inclusive. They put their money and their time where their mouth is with donations and dedicated presentations/workshops/speakers for learning and education. A revolutionary concept but it's true: Recharge actually listen to their employees.
Sounds too good to be true, right? It's not. It's Recharge.

Cons:
You don't get to sit in an hour of traffic there and back to office.
You don't get to interact with checked out employees.
You don't get to be undervalued by your company and peers.
Oh sorry these are all still pros.
