Pros

Full benefits and yearly review.

Cons

They overload you with work and expect you do to 3 or 4 jobs, work overtime, and set unrealistic expectations with zero compensation. Management has a hair trigger and if you don't meet their unrealistic deadlines you get yelled at and thrown out the door.

As with most places, it depends on what you put in

Pros

Stable company with consistent growth, friendly work environment, good people that are fun to be around (except for the few that can't find anything positive even on the best of days). ESOP and partially subsidized health insurance benefits. Depending on department, there's plenty of opportunity for growth and learning new skills. If you put in the work both in your duties and relationships, you will be rewarded with more responsibility and pay.

Cons

There's some tendency to do things less efficiently because "that's how we've always done it." Company provided lunches always seem to be from the same place and the same menu, month after month after month (could be worse though, right?). It seems like not much room in the budget in production to pay enough to keep top talent. Inter-departmental communication is somewhat lacking to non-existent. It seems like the pension is slowly being phased out.
