Pros

Small business, but really doing its very best to give the best possible to its employees. They are always trying to improve and enhance both the employee satisfaction and customer's satisfaction from experience with Red Gate. I believe their corporate culture is one of the top-notch. Every individual in the corporate genuinely tries to help and support you.

Cons

It's a small business, still in the early beginnings. Their business model is focussed in technology-related services only. They do not have a product of their own. Currently, most business or employment opportunities are tied to government contracts. Your employment experience will be mostly driven and influenced by what you get from the government team onsite at the government. Corporate has a limited headcount, which is reasonable assuming their smaller size at this time. I would have loved to be part of corporate rather than the government, but that's all I have got to live with or quit.

Pros

Management and Staff care for employees and their families. Hard work is rewarded. Company like to retain quality people and makes effort to find alternate employment if position ends. You will find open doors for you everywhere as the company and leadership maintain very professional reputation in the industry space.

Cons

Raises must be pursued, but they are possible. Most work tends to be contract based. Know what your worth but be flexible.

A Decent Employer, A Terrible Mission

Pros

Very helpful HR, decent salary, very good benefits, and a tight-knit family among the employees.

Cons

I like the notion of being relatively free to work in the best way I know how, but sometimes it is a detriment to my understanding of the entire mission or its direction. So, mid-level management could use some help in that area.
