      Some of the most brilliant people (technology, suppprt) willing to help one another

      Cons

      Where tech folks are great management still into "politics as usual." More interested in whose in my sandbox and less about how do we scale.

      Pros

      Good pay, modern headquarters, prestige among North Carolinians, lots of jobs available, your peers are smart and accomplished, plenty of learning opportunities if you are determined and manage your career actively. Plenty of fun people to work with.

      Cons

      Internal politics are abundant, the stress levels are quite high and steadily increase, and the growth of the company has created a conflict between the old guard (all techies who make collaborative decisions, all voices heard, but does not scale well) and a new top-down management style which scales better but challenges the old guard. Decisions are difficult to come by and things can get hung in limbo for a very long time. Don't let them manage your career.

      Sometimes daft management, fairly low salary for the industry, really poor advancement paths.
