      Pros

      Good people in company. Managers know how to do their job. Whole company is well driven and has good direction and future vision. I think generally people there are happy.

      Cons

      Salary in other comparable companies in same city are higher. I think we are slightly underpaid. Quite common practice is often content switching which really doesn't contribute much to job completion in time.

      Again - Great company, but losing its culture and direction

      Pros

      It was a great place to hang my hat for ten years, and I have many happy memories of the people and friendships. It is still a good place to work, but no longer great.

      Cons

      No longer a meritocracy, at least in the circles I traveled in. Many management positions are being filled with people from opposing cultures and proprietary companies. This is driving away the passionate and squashing meritocracy. No longer terribly transparent, lots of decisions behind closed doors because of the point mentioned above.

      Pros

      Great culture and work life balance. Some of my favorite memories (and commission checks) in my career were at the Mountain View Red Hat office

      Cons

      Not a lot of pathways for career growth and paid on the low end of sales people for the bay area.
