Pros

Believe everything you have heard/read about the benefits, on-site food, on-site medical services, and the property, all is great.

Cons

I am working as a telephonic sales rep, in their Allconnect line of business. If you want to make quota (keep your job) and make money, you will need to turn-off your moral compass. You need to accumulate points thru selling product (internet, tv, landline phone, gas, and a few ancillary) to people who were calling in to set-up electricity. You will receive more points by sale from vendors who pay Red Ventures more per sale, and less points from selling vendors who pay Red Ventures less per sale. Makes sense, but if you ever expect to reach your quota you will need to sell the higher value vendors. Problem is, many times the higher volume vendors cost the client more. Yes, often times the higher cost vendor may have better technology, but for many customers this is not of value. I sat through weeks of training and never once heard the phrase “do what is right for the customer” from any of the trainers or coaches. If you can live with this, go for it, this can be a lucrative job. Some of the MSA’s, their master sales agents, have said working at R V has made them liars.

Pros

- Awesome casual environment. You can be you, and be comfortable. - Great people to work with. Easily the funnest coworkers I've had. - You can definitely get out on time. - Flexible PTO

Cons

- Horrible tech stack. Most of it is outdated, and rather than scrap old broken tech, they just keep building on top of it. - Management doesn't give a crap about developers. They bleed engineers monthly because they don't pay them well compared to the rest of the industry. - Project managers and product managers steamroll developers constantly. You are at the mercy of whatever deadline they give you, and you can't give them a deadline that differs.
