Pros

Fun culture, no dress code, relaxed environment, potential to make a lot of money, diverse staff, members of management are promoted from within

Cons

Poor communication, a lot of management is EXTREMELY young (under 25yr old) so they have very limited work experience to effectively lead a team, they expect you to close EVERY SINGLE sale - even the impossible ones, inconsistent and sketchy commission structure so you never really know how much you earned in commission

Pros

Red Ventures does a great job of training employees in sales. It is top notch and cut throat. They have some of the best amenities on the east coast, no one can compete with that. You will also meet some great people working alongside you.

Cons

Inconsistent comp plans, odd hours to start (2-11 or 3-12), goals change constantly, employee voices are not heard when it comes to business but when it comes to environment and the next party/theme. Sometimes unethical in salesmanship tactics. Shady marketing, but they will teach you how to upsell hoping the customer doesn't realize what they are actually buying.

Pros

I loved working at RV for many years. The facilities are state of the art and full of great amenities like a full court basketball court, fitness gym, bowling alley, on-site clinic, and several eateries.

Cons

1. The instability in the pay structure. You only earn $10.00/he base pay + uncapped commissions. The problem is that the commission structure constantly changes. You may make $1000 or $5000 a month...you never know. 2. To advance your career into a manage role, you will take a severe pay cut. It's backwards of any place I've ever seen. You are talking about dropping your overall salary from $60,000 to less than $40,000. 3. The sales perform managers, as a result of point #2, are young, barely out of college managers who can afford to take the pay cut. That results in little to no coaching and improvement of sales skills.
