Pros

Competitive pay- base plus commissions. I am very competitive, so the commissions and extra incentives (gift cards, trips, TVs, Ipad) all are great incentives for me. I like that I can see how my performance compares to all the other agents at any point in the day. It makes me feel like they are being honest and open and it drives me to work harder and sell more. I have room for growth in becoming a Master Agent- special recognition for being top in sales and tenure. My PM is open to my suggestions and really appreciates the hard work that the team puts in. This is definitely an environment that you need to make sure you fit for. It's not an easy, sit there and collect a pay check. You work hard for your money and it pays off!

Cons

Location is a little far out. I live in the uptown area and would love to work there too. At least it's going against traffic.

Pros

Red Ventures is a very fun place to work! Our managers and executives go out of their way to make the environment different and very "out of the box". We shoot nerf guns in the office and have Friday meetings where we play games and give away prizes. We have a very open forum for communication and it's been a great learning experience for me to get to share ideas, and join in on meetings with our executive team. I like the fact that the entire company is made aware of changes and I always feel like I'm "in the loop" with what is going on. It's also great to hear each week that we've had our best week ever!

Cons

Because Red Ventures is growing quickly, the work can be pretty demanding. You won't survive in this environment if you aren't fast paced and willing to put in hard work. People do tend to take their work home with them, but for the most part everyone seems to have a pretty good work-life balance. I think the people that are unhappy at Red Ventures may not share the same passion and drive that the rest of the company possesses.

Pros

Casual dress, great compensation (very generous base + commission), paid benefits after 90 days, 3 week training and on-going training and support, discounts at local restaurants with badge, LOTS of prizes given all the time (I won $100, and generous Gift certificates to Massage Envy, 131 Main and Regal Cinemas last month alone along with a $750 bonus for just doing my job!!)

Cons

Expectations are high but they tell you that time and time again during the interview AND training process. People complaining on here probably just went there for a job and not sales. This is not a job for someone coming looking to punch a clock and sit on your butt and collect. You must perform but that performance is rewarded handsomely. I LOVE my job and my co-workers, we have a blast at work. It can be a very stressful job but any job with great rewards will have stress.
