- heavily political environment, moving teams/giving feedback was not something that could be done freely without retaliation on your career even if it was fair feedback or moving for your own interest. This also hurts you in receiving genuine feedback because this fear is shared amongst peers. You can be blind sighted in performance reviews - bonuses and promotions effected. - it is not as *relaxed* of an environment as was sold in the interview, work life balance is team dependent. Comparable to Amazon in expectation of shipping out features. - The company does not genuinely care about diversity. This is just offense to see/hear, higher ups will talk about it constantly - share personal stories, ask for employees to share their own traumas with the companies. For what?? There are alot of people who make openly racist/sexist comments at that company and HR does nothing, their racial diversity numbers are on par with the rest of big tech. They should be more professional in how they handle working with diverse employees instead of tokenizing so many of them.
