Pros

- insurance - pension Typing some words since I need five to validate the review, but can't find more pros, sorry.

Cons

- bro culture - boys club - underpay - really, and surprising, low level and lack of CGI knowledge, artists and leads - production does not know how to run a show: lack of organization, complete media, audiovisual and CGI analphabetism, constantly asking for ETAs (it's your job to determine ETAs with the leads) - no filter or whatsoever when contracting people: sexual jokes on the group chats, leads screaming at artists for no reason - leads insulting applicants or calling them liars after the interview when the Skype is over - constantly repeating work because the leads don't brief the team mates

Pros

Growing, challenging and trying to step up the quality!

Cons

Sometimes there's too much pressure. But I believe it's also due to the moment being of transition.

Overworked, underpayed, and not respected

Pros

- Most of the technical, rigging, and fx department employees are extremely intelligent - Great first place to work. You get your feet wet fast - Texas is cheap, and decent for families

Cons

- Puts way too much focus on the team of people developing the Production tracking software, instead of the pipeline. - Antiquated pipeline and technology - No one is willing to take ownership of there work. Everyone just throws it over the fence and hopes that the next people can work with it. - Pipeline is so convoluted that instead of developing new technologies/efficiencies the TD's have to be baby-sitting the artists shots/assets. - Pay is attrocious. No overtime pay. - Management works the artists/TD's to the ground. 60-80 hour weeks are the norm.
