By far one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Pros

-The work-life balance is awesome, and the environment is upbeat, professional and friendly. -Age diversity: I tell my friends this is a "startup for adults." We're all at various stages in our lives, and this gives us really valuable perspectives and opportunities to learn from one another. -The compensation packages are generous. -We have a dedicated and accomplished leadership team that truly embodies one of our company's core values: always be both a mentor and a student. They are all approachable and really care about career development for their employees. -This is an explosive-growth startup that is solving for a pressing problem in the modern HR space. It's an exciting time to work at a company like Reflektive. -We've built a quality, innovative product and have happy customers. -The office is in an amazing location and the facilities are brand new. We're right across from AT&T park, there's a beautiful gym downstairs, and we have a rooftop terrace to enjoy the views of the Bay.

Cons

If you're looking to join a startup that gives free daily lunches, puppies, snuggies and hosts beer pong tournaments every day, this one isn't for you. We do, however, organize a lot of fun team outings, and the perks are significant (transportation, 401K, gym, stocked fridge/pantry, and more).

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are happy to hear that you are working alongside great co-workers and find the balance between work and home life to be healthy. We believe we’ve built a culture with individuals who share our values and a place where employees feel appreciated and taken care of. We are sorry to hear that your overall experience at Reflektive hasn’t been what you expected. Here at Reflektive we highly value our employees’ experience, so it deeply saddens us to hear this. We know the importance of strong communication and, as our organization grows and we bring on new leaders, we continue to improve how we disseminate the right information throughout the company. With our weekly Fireside chats with our CEO, monthly All Hands meetings, and weekly team meetings across every team, we aim to ensure everyone is receiving important information on a regular basis. Similarly, we believe that having strong management is critical to the success and health of the company, which is why we provide regular management education sessions to continuously improve coaching, feedback, career discussions, 1x1’s and several other key skills. We can assure you that we have taken, and continue to take, necessary steps to ensure our product aligns with our customers’ needs. We are currently rolling out several new products and features to enable our customers to step into the future of Performance Management. Again, thank you for your thoughts and feedback. If you would like to discuss further please feel free to reach out to our HR team directly and we’d be happy to connect with you.

Great Place To Work!

Pros

People here really care about what they do. No matter what department you're in, employees support each other and are really friendly and helpful. Layout of the office is spacious and open, and the lounge area is good for networking and group lunches.

Cons

Getting 1-on-1 time or feedback with the CEO was nonexistent. I had to train my replacement the same day that I was let go, and I was never given an explanation as to why I wasn't invited to interview for the job on a full-time basis. A lot of emphasis was placed on the snacks/kitchen area without a clear budget, which became problematic as more people were hired.
