      Pros

      I enjoyed working with the employees and the residents. I found the management to be flexible and helpful with scheduling. While I was attending Carrington College I was able to work on call as is fit into my schedule. This company cares about the residents and the employees.

      Cons

      Working as a CNA is hard and physical work.

      Pros

      There are many many pros to working at Regency. In my 9+ years of experience with the company, I have come to know the senior management and many of the individual facility administrators. In a demanding industry Regency is vigilant in providing quality care to its residents, and genuinely cares about their employees. They seek out quality people and try hard to retain them. Great work/life balance, wonderful and talented co-workers, and a reputation within the industry for providing high quality care.

      Cons

      I think the hardest thing about being in the long term care industry, is the relative vulnerability of the industry to funding cuts at the state level. I would love to see Regency lobby lawmakers in OR/WA to maintain (and increase) funding for LTC.

      Pros

      Some of the corporate staff are nice and easy to work with. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Lacking in leadership. Unprofessional environment. Does not pay bills on time. Very disorganized. Advises staff to lower expectations instead of looking for ways to improve process and culture.
