A Bitter Pill to Swallow

Pros

A good location for anyone living in Westchester

Cons

As a former Regeneron employee, I had first-hand experience of working in an unhealthy atmosphere of high stress, condescension, and bullying. Many supervisors and high-level managers are self-enamored, believing they are legends...and they are, but only in their own minds. Regeneron is quick to tout that they believe in the balance of work and home life, but that is only lip service. When you sign on at Regeneron, you are signing away your home life, and are expected to be on call 24/7. At Regeneron, bullying is rampant among supervisors and high-level employees. When a supervisor can be allowed to continually harass an employee verbally, or throw a tissue box at an employee with no consequence, that is a real problem. In order to create a safe, healthy, and encouraging working environment for employees, a company needs an efficient Human Resource department. The HR department at Regeneron is anything but efficient. Potential candidates for employment at Regeneron should carefully consider all the reviews on this site before accepting a job offer.

Pros

As a temporary worker, you can look forward to unlimited free coffee, a beautiful campus, plenty of parking space, a company party, free scraps of leftover food, free ice creams every summer thursday, a casual dress code, and the best pro of all is that if you are an actual employee under regeneron, then you can get promoted for being a lazy worker while a temp does all of your work.

Cons

working with technically illiterate and unprofessional workers who don't take their jobs seriously but complain to no end without offering a solution to their problems. no learning and development opportunities. a gossip, cliquey, disingenuous, and toxic work environment that favors and promotes brown nosers. conform or be left out of special projects. a work culture that enables, promotes, and encourages bad behavior and poor performance. hard workers are not rewarded. if you're a seasoned professional who takes your role and work seriously do not work here because no good deed goes unpunished. try your luck elsewhere.

Pros

-Intelligent employees -Free gym -Younger employees at the lowest level, easy to make friends

Cons

-Horrible management - they will lie on your reviews and HR will not care despite you bringing them physical proof. Many managers are managers only because they have a PhD, not because they have proven any leadership skills. -Some managers discriminate against their female scientists and HR will not do a thing -Despite acting like they encourage internal transfers, it's not true; you won't even get a "thanks, but no thanks" -ZERO career development opportunities - a minion is a minion, that is, until you leave. It's a decent place to start, take your experience, and RUN. -The company works their employees into the ground and pay nothing until they can't take it anymore - then act like they just were't good enough to hack it when they all quit.
