Pros

The company is growing rapidly which is good and bad. Many opportunities for those who are willing to grow into new roles

Cons

The new CIO is not very employee focused. Fear tactics are preferred over accountability and sharing future plans for the organization.

Pros

Great campus, good food, semi-friendly people

Cons

-Weird work environment. It feels like you are in cult where people are just "so happy to work here" that they go blind to the passive aggressive management and mircro-managing that occurs. -I would not want to work here long term. They don't give you any freedom and they track your every move. They give lip service to work life balance but all the employees are so unbalanced and are over worked. -People are very passive aggressive and act like they are in high school - clique-y -You are reprimanded for things "you are supposed to know" but no one told you during your on boarding etc

A promising but flawed company

Pros

Good job security. Compensation is decent. A casual, often sociable workplace environment. Opportunities to have significant input on new business processes. Senior management keeps employees well informed.

Cons

The next few years are going to be a make or break test for the company. Regeneron IOPS has some major cultural issues that must be addressed if the company is remain successful. Employees are constantly being asked to do more, faster, and with less resources which can lead to unrealistic timelines. While the workplace is casual, it is also prone to promoting cliques which can be very disruptive. Moreover, interdepartmental and intergroup conflict is common and, in some cases, quite severe. Many employees do not really care about their work and just do the minimum required to get by. Compounding the issues, lower level managers and supervisors are poorly trained and were promoted based on seniority rather than aptitude. Some supervisors are quite disrespectful towards employees and promote an environment of negativity.
