Be able to advocate for yourself or you'll be left behind.

Pros

- The people who I work with are genuinely good people and I enjoy having them as coworkers. - Work load is "manageable" most of the time, but there are times when it gets to be unrealistic. - There are parties quite often. - Pay is 'ok' at best. - Work is engaging and it is cool knowing your company is changing people lives for the better

Cons

- There are some serious control issues at the company. Some people send out company wide emails berating people like they are children. I would love to see what would happen if I sent out an emails similar to his. -Due to the pandemic employees realized we could work from home and the company can still make billions, yet they make us go to site for "culture". I sit in a cube and have meetings with people sitting next to me which is comical. - At the end of the year you must advocate for yourself or you will get mediocre raises at best. They will take advantage of paying you less if you do not show you're worthy. Company literally sends out emails around the holidays telling you not to discuss pay with your peers purely for this reason (which is illegal). -Once you get promoted to management you have to wait until the following year to get paid management pay. So if you get promoted in January you won't get your pay bump till January of the following year.
