Compensation is definitely an area that we strive to be competitive in. Although it can be incredibly frustrating when you feel that management isn't taking action on issues, it's important to remember that there are often conversations happening that you may not be privy too. Pros

Great opportunities for advancement and a wide variety of specializations available. Lots of structure in terms of career path for younger workers.

Cons

Support staff is giving too much power and control over how things are done. Also, if you're older, and don't come in as a principal, it's not going to happen, as the principal/owner track is designed for those in their thirties to early forties. In fact, once you hit 65, you're required to give up your ownership.
