Pros
The firm provides ample opportunity to work on interesting projects for staff at all levels. Everyone is expected to challenge themselves and their colleagues to exceed client expectations. Client work never takes a backseat to business development, eliminating pressure on employees.
Cons
There isn't a cookie cutter process for moving up the ranks. Don't think this is a downside, but individuals need to identify ways to improve their own skills and services to clients without waiting for instruction.
