Pros

- Leadership values initiative, and there are lots of opportunities to own your own projects and trajectory. - Lots of support for professional development opportunities, including online classes, bootcamps, PMP certification and internal training opportunities. If you can make a business case for why it brings value, leadership generally covers cost. - GREAT people. From executive leadership to entry level associates and everyone in between, Reingold generally does a really good job finding employees who are not just knowledgeable but also a good culture fit. - Consistent CSR and firm culture activities, like the annual Smoker, holiday party, and firm retreat, fundraising activities, pro bono work, monthly birthday celebrations, and more. - Maybe I drink the Kool Aid, but I truly believe that the firm is committed to doing great work for great causes. Whether it's related to veterans/military service, suicide prevention, mental and behavioral health, or telemedicine, there are ample opportunities to find a topic or project that speaks to you and make a real impact. - The firm might not yet have the same name recognition as other comms shops, but the opportunities and visibility you get at Reingold are unlike those I've seen elsewhere. Employees are valued and promoted based on merit and ability, not just experience. If you demonstrate your talent and earn leadership's trust, you are given more opportunity than you likely would at a larger firm. - Year end bonus.

Cons

- Office is moving to Old Town (from Del Ray) at the end of 2018 and parking is going to be a nightmare. It will be great to have a new building though. - HR department is full of great people, but is very understaffed. Talent acquisition process needs to be streamlined and formalized. - There's a huge knowledge gap between general consultants and the digital marketing teams. Reingold is growing the digital team rapidly, but there needs to be an emphasis on information sharing -- from both the consultants and digital sides of the ball. - Don't get most of the three-day weekend federal holidays off that others do in the area.

Pros

No one takes himself too seriously. Atmosphere was casual. Also skews young.

Cons

The management of people could be unprofessional. Some people who were not good could stay because no one wanted to be mean, I guess, which meant more work for others. And some seemed favored by higher-ups for unclear reasons.
