Pros

-Benefits are decent (like unlimited time off) but don't think you will actually have time to take it :)

Cons

-very poor salary, way below the average. Salary increases are a slap in the face (0-3%). This has been escalated over the years and they are aware of the problem, as they admit it themselves that the “salaries were not adjusted to the current rates”, but especially if you are outside the US, they look at you purely from a cheap labor perspective, not even as someone equal to them. Your extensive knowledge or experience will not really matter here. -Relativity has pioneered a unique "Schrödinger’s Promotion" system. Even if you are a high-performer, and logically you meet the criteria for the promotion, this opportunity will be blocked as it would mean increasing the salary. No one can provide an answer what are the other secret conditions that still need to be met, and they are very skilled at the carrot and the stick technique. And while you are asking for that raise, they will hire new people for your team starting from the level above you because no one wants to work for that rate anymore. Of course, the director will pretend it makes the perfect sense! -As someone here already mentioned, if you are brave enough to point out toxic practices, congratulations! You have officially become "The Problem." Expect to be gaslit with high-level efficiency until you begin to question your own reality. Unfortunately, I was unlucky enough to deal with a toxic manager, where issues were treated as "matters that cannot be shared outside 1:1" to be silenced rather than solved. -As another user mentioned here, problems are skilfully covered during the employee satisfaction surveys and problematic matters are ignored.

Very Average Job

Pros

Was able to work remote. Some people love the company and feel very passionate about it. I think it’s highly dependent on what group you work in the office is very nice but when you work remote, you really don’t get to experience it.

Cons

It is very hard when half the company works remote and half the company is in the office. It’s almost like you get an advantage being in Chicago and close I think that if they want that office open, they should probably just hire Chicago officers because you really can tell the difference between who’s remote and who’s in Chicago and I think that that really depends on the experience of the person.
