Pros

* Everyone is on the same page: Rockets are awesome. We're here to build something revolutionary. There is a united sense of purpose that you don't get from working on other software. * People are nice, culture is startup-y and lacks the annoying politics that larger companies fall prey to. * You can make a massive impact. You feel empowered to keep improving the product and iterate fast. * Opportunity to have work-life balance if you work smart (as a software engineer, may not be so relevant for other positions). * Opportunities to work from home. * Growth opportunities: you can work on what you are interested in if it provides value.

Cons

* It's a startup culture. Expect to not be given direction on what to exactly work on. * It's a startup culture. Expect to have to pivot to solve problems you don't want to solve but that the company needs you to solve.

Pros

Relativity has a clear vision and mission that help keep the work priorities and direction well aligned. Everyone knows what needs to be done to achieve our lofty goals. There is not lack of opportunity for learning, growth, ownership and decision making. Expectations are high, culture screening is important during interviews and performance reviews, and the talent bar keeps raising. These are all necessary to be successful and achieve our mission, while not falling in the trap of legacy aerospace inefficiencies.

Cons

The only way to achieve such a difficult mission, is to have a huge drive to succeed and work really hard. This can lead to significant level of stress as well as reduced work/life balance.

Pros

- High level of autonomy. - Advanced technology, get to work with really smart people. - Wonderful work culture. Great team atmosphere, very "flat" corporate structure. Everyone works together at all levels. - Limitless company outlook. Will be a major player in aerospace for years to come.

Cons

- Aggressive timelines - Lots of work, but much better work/life balance than my past startup experiences
