Pros

-The most inspiring mission of any company I've ever worked for, and one that stands out among other rocket launch companies. Definitely doing something different with 3D printing and robotics compared to others and the value proposition is huge. -Unusually talented team and great work culture, everyone embraces first-principles thinking and there is a very low blame culture which is great for promoting innovation and new ideas -Using modern things like company chat means people have fun while working hard -Building for long-term success with confidence that approach will pay off. Unique to other launch startups in that way. Seems way more on top of operational growth and communication than other small companies I've been at

Cons

-Team is growing very quickly to build all the things we need to. I can see how continuing product development under high growth will stress a lot of the processes we have spent the time to establish -Hiring process is rigorous and takes a lot of meetings, although I suppose this is good to keep that bar high -Need more conference rooms

Pros

* Company as a whole values making the correct decision instead of path of least resistance * Mission is absolutely thrilling and inspiring * Everyone is absolutely stoked about the challenges being faced * Team is composed of extremely talented individuals who value sharing knowledge * Little to no ego observed, everyone clearly on the same team with same mission * Management is very open and easy to talk to * Brings out a strong coffee game. Well caffeinated company :) * Work/Life balance is way better than experienced at a high-profile Los Angeles rocket and spacecraft company!

Cons

* Quickly growing startup! While this is a good thing there are always growing pains. * Sometimes hard to know what other teams are doing * Open floor plan is usually great but sometimes hard to focus. Benefit of making company really inviting and close though. Tough one here.

Pros

The company is working in a new space within a pretty old industry--providing a fresh outlook on an industry that's needed a little disruption. 1. Cool product--the value proposition makes sense and can revolutionize not only the space industry, but I think it will also inspire others 2. Coffee Lover's Paradise 3. Incredibly smart people 4. One team, One Mission- 5. Transparency is Valued 6. Stock options that might even be worth something

Cons

-Benefits could use some work--but I'm sure this will come in time -Lots of processes are still being developed, making it a little difficult to determine responsibility -Needs more sunlight -Needs more diversity--typical in the engineering space, but it would be nice to be able to differentiate ourselves
