Pros

I would put the people at the top. I think they do a good job with their interview process to find a diverse set of people with a strong internal drive, ambition, and overall a good attitude. I've learned more from the people I work with at RQ, than I have in years of working with other companies. Exceptional talent across the board, and willing to give you the time of day to explain things. The opportunity and upside working here is something that would be hard to find anywhere else. The platform we are building is something that didn't exist, to solve problems that haven't been solved, in an industry that continues to explode. The opportunities for advancement are there in abundance if you are willing to work hard to get there, take a look through LinkedIn to see how many Managers/Directors/VPs/etc were promoted from within. The company has a focus on values, being helpful, accountable, adaptable, and focused. While they are not always perfect, it fells like the intent is always in the right place. There are a lot of people that really care about the company and its people, you won't find a lazy person in any department.

Cons

Constant change is painful at times. There are processes that are created that seem to be outdated in no time because we have outgrown them. There are solutions we create that are not always right, because we are solving for something we haven't solved for before, which means going back to the drawing board. These things can cause headaches, particularly on stressful days, and can impact morale on teams. Once I learned that this is the trade off for working for a fast growing company, you really just learn to embrace it best you can. They call it growing pains for a reason, it's not going to be easy, but when you look back at how far you've come it makes it worth it. A lot will be expected from you, they talk about in on-boarding how selective their interview process is which is pretty cool. You understand you were picked for a reason, and that you are trusted from the get-go with important tasks. I never felt I was put in a position to fail, but I did find myself in uncomfortable situations regularly. Overtime you become comfortable, confident, and ready to move to the next challenge. Its similar to going through really hard workout, you might be sore and in pain, but you know thats what progress feels like.

Pros

High focus on developing their people through training and early opportunity. Sr. Management is built around the highest levels of integrity. Definitely a work hard, play harder environment filled with some creative offsite excursions. Great opportunity to start out of college and make good money in sales and technology positions. Day to day interaction with the ownership group, a very down to earth group with a good sense of humor.

Cons

Ownership group has a strong work ethic and are "all in" when it comes to the company and the people. People who aren't interested in making themselves better and growing in their career shouldn't consider working at ReliaQuest. The people that work at ReliaQuest believe in the company and work hard so if someone is just looking for a job and isn't interested in building a career and growing as a professional they won't fit in very well.
