Pros
I love working at Reliable Robotics, every day I am surrounded by brilliant engineers who just want to make a product without any of the ego/bureaucracy of other tech startups. Reliable Robotics has the right balance between "new-space" engineers from SpaceX, Astra, and Virgin Orbit versus seasoned veterans from GE Aviation, Aviage, and Boeing, where you spend time actually producing hardware and advancing the system design without wasting time on experimental garbage which isn't certifiable. Because the founders have actual families there is a reasonable work-life balance expectation, where you don't need to grind hours but instead are encouraged to take care of your mental health and family obligations. Its almost tangential that the company appears to be doing incredibly well in the race to autonomy.
Cons
Because Reliable Robotics is such a young company there isn't as much infrastructure as bigger companies, so a non-trivial amount of time may be spent building the tools or processes to do work. Examples include developing the CAD system and part release process, and developing requirements.
