Pros

It used to be great

Cons

Treated like having years of experience was a bad thing and like we had to throw our brain away once company was sold even after running a top earning location for 4+ years with minimal direction. New management team is terrible, any concern was labeled “growing pains”. If that was the case we would all be 10ft tall by now. “Family type culture” went out the window the minute new management was introduced. Most tenured employees dropped like flies. Sales started to be pushed immediately and we were trained to use reverse psychology on clients and use their own insecurities against them to get a sale. We were even called “spoiled” for bringing up valid concerns. How did we go from every meeting starting with “are you guys happy?” to completely being disregarded.

Pros

Culture - was great at the beginning Thorough training for the first month with performance reviews. Regular clinical training meetings

Cons

Growing too quickly and ignoring existing studios that are understaffed. Promotes toxic people who have ruined the “amazing culture” Rarely get replies from RM as their plate is TOO full. Other employees get paid equal or more for a position you studied for with a huge hecs debt, due to regulations in the state, anyone can apply without beauty or laser backgrounds

Pros

Free Tattoo Removal for current employees.

Cons

This is a company that does not value their employees. The negative reviews are all pretty consistent. The issues are systemic and company wide, not limited to a few upset employees. Communication of changes and studio support are very poor. Meetings upon meetings that achieve nothing and SHOULD be emails since they want to make a protocol change but don't memorialize anything in any searchable form. You are constantly told "its in the meeting". So you have to sit through the gossip to get to the snippet of information that is relevant. Recent changes to the bonus has taken around $25,000 out of annual paycheck. When I spoke up, I am told that I should be here to provide a service and help people and not worry about the money....WHAT!
