Pros

If you drink the kool aid, you may actually think this job isn't soul sucking for awhile. Brace yourself though.. those rose colored glasses do not last beyond your training. Enjoy the wine & dine experience while it lasts. You are just a number to these people.

Cons

Terrible management: Either passive aggressive or fully aggressive, even threatening. Change of work hours without notice. Threatened over it. Had to seek out the services of an employment lawyer to better understand my rights, because they sure wanted to strip every one of them from me. Your pay will change all the time. You will be asked to take on endless responsibilities. There are 100 meetings that you have to be on camera for. All of them could have been emails. You won't have enough time in the day to do your work. You are not entitled to OT. They will let you come in early, unpaid to do the work which is laughable. The training is virtually nonexistent. You get less than two weeks laser training and they expect you to be lasering on your own without any supervision at all... Toxic work atmosphere with heavy favoritism. HR is a joke. Good luck reporting anything to anyone who might care: they don't. Do your job. Go home. Don't do any extra and maybe you'll be fine... but seriously consider working anywhere else before you settle on Removery.

Pros

The people at clinic level are great

Cons

Pay is not great for what is expected Management constantly changing. Treat clinic staff like they are just a number. Tattoo removal is a small industry. Staff are forced to put up with it or leave the industry altogether. Running clinicians into the ground Only care about making money and selling packages. Force sales staff to use borderline dishonest practices during consultations to suck clients in and then wonder why the clients expectations are not being met. Always trying to cut costs when it comes to clinic staff then spending millions on opening and moving clinics. Staff often are not supported, get burnt out and leave. No opportunites for advancement. They talk a lot about culture and values but don’t show it to clinic staff. There is a massive difference between how clinic staff and out of clinic staff are treated, but it’s the people in the clinics who are making all the money.

Pros

Good co-workers, we had each other's backs when the company and management never did.

Cons

If I wrote every con it would take too long. Budding laser techs: don't apply for a job here. They expect you to be a sales person first and foremost. Protocol changes are so frequent you'll question whether you've been giving any effective treatments at all. Keeping investors happy is the ONLY thing that matters to the company and if your KPIs don't reflect that, then you're treated like garbage no matter how good you are at the tech side of things. Management and Studio Leads will tell anyone who expresses an opinion that isn't "I love Removery so much" that they are negative and a complainer and gaslight you into thinking you're the problem. Just, don't do it to yourself. All my stress disappeared the minute I left the company and the company I work for now has made it even more clear how awful it was there. Good companies who value their employees exist so if you're job seeking, this place has the potential to kill your passion as it did for me. Don't apply!
