Pros

- Good Health Benefits. - Generous vacation time. - Work from home. - Management seems to generally care about employees and offers generous layoff severance.

Cons

Caught in the tailspin of the Ed Tech fallout. Products were acquired that turned out to be not that great and integration has dragged on. Now comes a second round of layoffs within 4 months, hitting the development teams hard. They could not, or did not have the management skill to get the disparate teams to be be cohesive in production procedures — and have now relied on a consulting firm to cover for them in making the decision to offshore a good chunk of development.

Pros

Solid benefits and pay, competitive within EdTech. Lots of teams to consider given the acquisitions over recent years.

Cons

Product strategy is compelling but management is struggling to execute. Acquisitions are poorly integrated and executive leadership has let underperforming management linger to the point of high turnover rates (>50% in some product areas) and missed goals quarter after quarter.
