Management, the recently new President in particular has over expanded, shows no care for the employees beyond sales and desk jobs, and left the company scrambling to keep and hire workers in all areas, even engineering. Everything that was said for years that was not in writing, was not held up, you will not get a dollar raise per year if expectations are met, etc. Its not a 40hr work week, almost the entire time spent here was 45-50+ mandatory hours. The job in its self is beyond difficult and only growing exponentially in difficulty each year, with job times shortening, and pay not increasing. This coupled with ever choking administrative policy has left them partially crippled, as far as a "functioning" company goes. The training is sink or swim, even with the right trainer. There's never enough documentation readily available to learn from, as there are so many technicians producing units at the same time. If have a Dr appointment, you must have a Dr note, If you dont have a doctors note for being gone, you receive points against you in your record, even if you have a note, your required to make up the time missed in the week, that week. This means coming in early, and staying late, even if its not possible to make up the time, which then results in more points against you on your file. If you get sick, you cannot come back without a negative covid test, and your required to be gone for three days, before you get the test, who can afford this loss of pay, and how can i make up this time? All in all, you can find much less stress and more money else where, with equally decent people, if not better.
