It is a community of instructors who truly want to help their students succeed.

Pros

Both peers in instruction and administration are very supportive of each other. It is not a competitive atmosphere but one of helping improve instruction for overall campus retention.

Cons

Office space and class space is limited for part-time instructors. If you teach 2 classes, you may be walking between two buildings or computer labs far apart or going pretty far to make a copy.
