The pay is less than industry standard, yet they expect above standard performance. You're typically gone 4 to 6 days each week with sometimes only 1 day off between trips. Many people call in sick just to get a break and spend time with family and friends. You feel little to no sense of value to the company. To them the flight crews can all be replaced easily. The only time you hear from management is when you do something wrong. Job recognition and praise is extremely rare.

High cost for medical benefits. Low employee morale. Huge disconnect between senior management and front line employees. Management views employees as a liability. Salary for all positions, excluding senior management, is below average of industry. You are easily replaced by someone cheaper. Management is always on the prowl for a reason to terminate employees.
