Pros

United and delta benefits with good health care . Short reserve time at EWR base only because the turnover is so fast - half will get fired other half will quit . 2 times able to use commuting policy without punishment.

Cons

The pay is 17.73 with only 75 hours at that pay scale payed to you. Layovers are all less than 12 hours so no time to explore the new city your at. Terrible Union and work rules. If your on reserve only 11 days off which your reserve time is 3:00 am to 3:00 pm so half the off days your getting start in the middle of the night. Cleaning the plane. You will sit airport standbye for ten hours a day and then go home and be required to do the same thing 12 hours later, almost 10 times every month. It makes regular reserve ( sitting at home on call ) look appealing . No time or money to use benefits. Terrible management . Sick call use is accompanied with a write up.
