      Overall was a good place to work. For the most part the people are great to work with.

      Cons

      Better be willing to give the CEO a standing ovation when he walks into the room.

      Pros

      Decent pay, nice building, solid benefits. Anything that helps them to portray a certain image with customers when they visit is put together very well.

      Cons

      Can't seem to decide on a company culture, out of date systems, micro managing. It's a solid company, but nothing out of the ordinary. The frustrating part is that thanks to our annual surveys, they are able to identify the issues but then don't resolve them.

      Pros

      The health insurance benefits are incredible! They seem to pay better than many other companies. They are moving full speed ahead with new technologies in order to set them apart from the competition.

      Cons

      Work life balance is not good. Even though I am in internal IT they don't allow any telecommuting and you must dress in business attire every single day except Friday. They have a hard time recruiting younger people because of these things, as enough other companies do those things that there is really no reason to work at Republic if you can go to one of those places.
