      Career Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion, great benefits and work life balance. The company is intentional about growing leaders and philanthropic work in the local communities.

      Cons

      You can not find another career like it. Best company to work for and you may need to apply more than once.

      Pros

      Payroll team had wonderful teamwork environment.

      Cons

      Some management had anger issues and didn't know how to be diplomatic. Was not allowed to involve other management levels when current manager blows up at employees.

      Pros

      Republic Service has proven to be home for me, I have been with the company almost 8 years as of this December. In my time with the company I have been able to advance and move around to take jobs that interest me. I have found that the company really cares about it employees, customers and share holds alike. It is a company that is environmentally very friendly and caring. If you are looking for a company that you can enjoy coming to each day and continue to grow and meet career goals this is a great place to come work. It is my home and I have no plans to leave.

      Cons

      The only concern is training for new positions is not always structured as you maybe accustom to with a large company. The company is working to improve this across the board.
